These certified fully compostable and biodegradable waste sacks are designed to fit standard 50 litre bins or to use alone. Our liners are environmentally friendly and suitable for garden waste only such as grass cuttings, wood chippings, plants & weeds.

These liners have a gusseted base meaning they are reinforced to provide extra strength at the bottom of the bag. This helps to prevent the bag breaking when full of garden waste, but does not affect the overall capacity of the bag.

These are made from Corn starch so are 100% biodegradable and compostable. All our liners conform to BS EN 13432 standard and carry the European standard seedling logo. Suitable for home composting.

Measurements:

Designed to fit standard 50 Litre bins the liner measures 71cm (W) and 97.5cm (H) laid flat and 30 Micron thick.

Also Known As:

Also known as compost bags, biobags, composting bags, compostable caddy liners, garden sacks, biodegradable garden waste bags, garden bags.

How to Use:

  • Suitable for most garden waste (avoid sharp sticks and twigs)
  • The liner will breakdown harmlessly in a composting process and will disappear completely in 1-3 months
  • Store unused liners in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight and below 35 degrees
  • There can sometimes be a build up of condensation between the bin and the liner. This is normal and harmless

Storage:

Store unused liners in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight and below 35 degrees
Please note that all compostable liners should be used within 12 months of the purchase date. Instructions are supplied with all our liners.

50 Litre Biodegradable & Compostable Refuse Sacks

    R. L. Raithby

Just used the first bag and it seems fine. Good draw string, robust enough not to split in use, right size for our kitchen bin. In terms of biodegradability...see my review update in 100 years.

    Joe Ross

These bin liners are amazing to use. Haven't once found difficulty in opening one (Store bought ones are near impossible without licking my fingers, and I'm handling rubbish so why would I want to do that!?). Very strong liners, will be returning when i run out to order more

Decent thickness and sturdiness. Reduced down in the composing in around 6 weeks. Ecofriendly. Now a staple item in my cupboard for both composting and recycling lining.
